What Is EFT?
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), often called tapping, is a gentle yet powerful practice that bridges modern psychology with the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
EFT involves tapping on specific meridian points on the face and body while bringing attention to what you’re feeling, thinking, or experiencing in your life. This simple combination of touch, focused awareness, and language helps release stored stress,
regulate the nervous system, and allow blocked energy in the system to flow and be alchemised.
EFT works on multiple levels to support the body and psyche to return to harmony, often creating a sense of clarity, groundedness, and inner refuge. It offers both empowering perspective shifts and a settling of the nervous system into the safety of present-moment awareness.
How does EFT support you?
Physiological
- Research shows that tapping can calm the stress response, lowering cortisol levels and supporting the nervous system to shift from heightened states into rest and digest.
